This project presents the development of an innovative card game, inspired by the dynamics of La Polilla Tramposa and set in the traditional bars of Granada. The objective of the proposal is to connect with a young audience familiar with these traditional spaces, combining an attractive game mechanic with a visual design that integrates cultural and symbolic elements of the city. In this way, a unique and emotionally close play experience is created.

Game mechanics and card categories

The game is composed of 82 cards, organized into four main categories:

  • Damage cards: such as "Rolling Tobacco", which penalize players' turns.
  • Healing cards: they alleviate penalties or allow to recover points.
  • Discard cards: represented by the "Toilets", which facilitate the elimination of cards.
  • Special cards: such as "The guard", which introduces strategic dynamics by regulating specific actions.

These categories have been designed to promote a varied and entertaining gameplay, incorporating direct references to the bar environment and providing a cultural dimension that enriches the player's experience.

Graphic design and themed packaging

The visual identity of the game is inspired by the characteristic objects of traditional bars, incorporating ashtrays, napkins and graphic details typical of these spaces. To reinforce the product's theme, a disruptive packaging has been chosen, presented in a format similar to that of a pack of cigarettes. This design not only captures attention at points of sale, but also incorporates visual warnings and messages that evoke classic cigarette labels, adding a touch of humor and provocation.

An innovative proposal with cultural identity

This project reinterprets a classic game through a setting that fuses aesthetic design, innovation and local references. Its appeal lies both in the gameplay and in its visual and cultural narrative, positioning itself as a unique proposal in the market, capable of generating a strong bond with the public through its Granada identity.
