This Final Degree Project consists of a magazine created and designed specifically for the Z Generation. The development process of the project has been carried out following design-thinking techniques, such as brainstorming to generate ideas and establish the foundations of the project and techniques such as "the 5 W's" to develop the main idea of the project.
An exhaustive research of the publishing world and Generation Z. was carried out, finding iconic magazines as references ("Bravo" and "SuperPop"), as well as the most suitable behavior, tastes and interests for this audience.
In developing the magazine, more inspirations and references were sought, as well as an aesthetic and correlation throughout the design. It was known from the beginning that this project was going to be developed in a physical form, so the necessary requirements were followed to be able to carry it out. In addition, elements such as a pantonera that served as a guide for the colors during the creation of the magazine were created, and proofs were made at different stages of the project, especially in those pages or sections that presented more complex elements to print.
As part of the graphic extension of the magazine, the creation of merchandising was included. Specifically, stickers or stickers were designed that readers could have in physical format, which would contribute to strengthening the identity and connection with the magazine's brand. We have also developed the RRSS such as Instagram and Twitter where people would listen and comment on points of the magazine, and on the other hand the Spotify of the magazine that users can follow as the magazine grows.
In the case of carrying out the publication of the magazine in the future, this first prototype will serve as a template. With the help of a team, the idea, values and aesthetics of the project would be followed to achieve a publication as iconic as the great references of this magazine.
