Cruise Lines by Gema Barranco, student in Interior Design, is a project that aims to design the interior of a 17m2 cruise ship cabin.
With inspirations from Mies Van der Rohe and Le Corbusier, Gema has developed different spaces that are connected in a central core of panels. These panels are made of laminated wood and translucent glass, saving costs and making it cost-effective to manufacture on a large scale like a cruise ship.
Gema tells us that with this idea what is intended is to achieve the maximum use of space by mixing and connecting transit and habitat spaces.
