This intervention consists of the creation of an optician's shop made up of a group of young opticians who decided to undertake their project in the Zaidín neighborhood, Granada.
To carry out this project, the intention was to create an interesting space. For this, we based our intervention on the work of the sculptural artist Cyrus Kabiru, whose most significant work is the line of sculptural glasses that he made in the previous decade by recycling garbage that he found in his area.
The result was to turn the space into a kind of metal ship, but more refined, and where the volumes serve as spaces and furniture. In addition, a wow area is included, for advertising on social networks, which consists of a structure that covers the entire window area of the store, where glasses hang at different heights thanks to brass chains, so that the customer and the curious can immerse themselves in what we wanted to symbolize as the tide of waste that our artist reference, Kabiru.
