A place for tranquility

We were commissioned by ESADA to design a social project that aims to address some of society's problems, thus proposing innovative solutions. We have chosen to provide a solution to the lack of spaces and sufficient means to facilitate the daily life of neurodivergent people: people with high sensitivity, autism, anxiety and ADHD, in social spaces with high levels of stimuli.

These points will be located in various parts of the city, especially places where there is a lot of sensory stimulation, such as a shopping mall, near concert venues and in the middle of the city. The rooms are free of charge for those who require it, although a special access card is required to enter.

The room is designed to be adapted to the needs of a sensitive person in a time of crisis. Therefore, inside the room people will have access to thermostat, light regulator, a seamless and neutral-colored armchair, carpets; because the contact with the floor causes them more easily a loss of body temperature. Finally, there is a voice guide and an assistance button; this is a voice that guides you at the beginning and offers psychological help.
