Giga, is a shoe that was born from the AMA brand, the convergence between four young designers who want to convey the rebellion, revolution and empowerment of a woman from this shoe. A unique piece, which goes from the conventional heel to the sculpture to your own feet, inspired by three collections with references such as the fashion of the 60s, religion and futurism whose link are the pearls. A design that inspires luxury, elegance and innovation, without leaving behind the ergonomics and comfort of the foot, the basis of every woman.

Making the model

Initially, some tests were carried out to prove that the modeling was correct, and after verification, we began to print all the pieces in 3D printing. Once we had all of them, we made the hole where the foot would enter the larger balls and filled the bottom surface to make it solid with silicone.

After this all the pieces were bathed in alcohol to get that crystalline effect, except the soles that would be glued both parts and putty to get that rigidity and strength. We let them dry and began to sand with sandpaper, to later cover them with socks and glue an insole on top to make the shoe more comfortable. Once we had all the pieces, they were glued with silicone and a special glue together with the fastening strips. Finally, some details were finished by sanding and gluing black tape to cover those edges. We would do the same with both shoes.
