ESADA hosts Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) Staff
This week, ESADA had the honor of hosting a visit from 10 members of the administrative staff of the Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) in Tallinn, Estonia, with which our school has an Erasmus Inter-Institutional Agreement. The staff members of EKA were: Kätlin Leokin, Karolina Lehtma, Mari Maiste, Katrin Sütt, Kärt Viljalo, Maria Kesküla, Liis Mõttus, Annamari Nael, Tiina Tammet and Marie-Katharine Maksim.
The visit was marked by a rich exchange of knowledge, collaboration, and cultural exploration.
They had the opportunity to tour ESADA's facilities and hold a meeting with Félix Guerrero, the Erasmus+ Coordinator, and José Antonio González, one of our Directors. This meeting was crucial for discussing collaboration opportunities, exchanging best practices, and strengthening the relationship between both institutions.
During this meeting, there was also a deep dive into educational methodologies and various projects developed at ESADA, providing a platform for mutual learning and inspiration.
Additionally, during their visit, they offered several presentations about EKA to different groups of ESADA students, encouraging them to consider Erasmus+ mobility at their school. Like ESADA, EKA also offers the four specializations in Design (Fashion, Graphic, Interior, and Product) in a huge, newly and impressively renovated building in the city center of Tallinn.
To conclude their visit, the EKA staff enjoyed an enriching guided tour of Granada's city center, exploring the history and architectural beauty that the city has to offer, thanks to Pateando Granada, which allowed them to discover the charms and secrets of our city.
This visit not only strengthened the bonds between ESADA and EKA but also opened up new collaboration opportunities and mutual enrichment. Our school looks forward to future collaborations and the continuation of this fruitful exchange between both institutions.
