I am Liudas Česnulis, an interior design student from Vilnius College of Technology and Design.

Granada was one of my first choices, and I haven't changed my mind. The reason was that I wanted to experience a lifestyle and education as different as possible, and Granada was the furthest point from Lithuania. I had already made this choice a year before leaving, so I was sure I would study in Granada. Preparing for this trip was not unexpected, so six months before my departure, I started learning Spanish on my own and looking for a place to live. After visiting many websites, I finally found an apartment through a Facebook student group, and I can say that I lived in one of the best places in Granada with a view of the Alhambra.

From the first minute in Granada, I felt like home. I immediately fell in love with the city, the architecture, the people, the tapas, the siesta, and all the diversity and the wide range of delights this city offers.

A big THANK YOU to ESADA and the people who work there. From the first day, they paid special attention to us, solved our every problem, and always advised us. I have always felt good while studying in this school. Yes, sometimes it was complicated to understand each other between students and teachers because of the language barrier, but we easily solved all the problems with modern technology. The learning process is different from what we usually have in Lithuania, so it was very interesting to learn in a slightly different program. In this school, interior design students work on one project that covers all the subjects they are studying, so they can concentrate better on one project at a time.

This city was special for everything, especially the people and the students who live there. I have made many friends in this city that will definitely stay in my heart for life. You will never feel lonely here. My friends and I have been exploring Granada all the time, and I can safely say that we didn't manage to discover it all in six months, so I will definitely be back. We also used the time to go to the surrounding beaches, mountains, and hiking, and we went to Mallorca, Morocco, and Portugal with friends.

I learned a lot about myself and the people and culture during these six months in Granada. Thank you again to everyone who contributed to this experience, and I would like to wish all the cool students not to be afraid to get out of their comfort zone and try new things, especially studying in Granada, ESADA - you won't regret it ;)
