My Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training in Venice: Puri Granados, ESADA
Puri Granados, academic responsible at ESADA.
Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training at Università Iuav di Venezia in Italy, from October 16th to 20th, 2023.
From October 16th to 20th, I had the pleasure of being at Università Iuav di Venezia, thanks to an Erasmus mobility for staff. This was my second mobility since I joined ESADA, and on this occasion, I was accompanied by the Erasmus coordinator, Félix Guerrero. We chose to visit Università Iuav di Venezia because many of our students select it as their Erasmus destination.
During that week, we had the opportunity to explore various departments at Università Iuav di Venezia. Our journey began at the International Relations department, where we received a warm welcome. There, we had the chance to discuss working methods, curricula, and the challenges that our students face at both institutions. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Maria Gatto, Paola De Rossi and the entire Iuav team for their hospitality.
In addition to sharing experiences with our colleagues at Università Iuav di Venezia, we were delighted to meet two former incoming Erasmus students from ESADA, Anna Pandolfo and Camila Bertini. Over Venetian cuisine, they shared how their Erasmus experience at ESADA had influenced their current lives. We also had the opportunity to visit our Interior Design student, Fátima Rivero, and observe how she had adapted and was enjoying her Erasmus experience.
One of the advantages of this experience was sharing it with a colleague Félix, which strengthened our bonds. Furthermore, we took the opportunity to explore Verona and discover Venice. Venice is a city with a unique charm; its streets, bridges, and canals captivate everyone. The islands of Murano and, especially, Burano, stole our hearts.
Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, ESADA, and Università Iuav di Venezia. I've had the chance to live an enriching experience both in my professional and personal development.
